Butler Alumni is a Shining Bellarmine Knight

Erin Templeman

Most of you might remember the smiling face of Carley Ziegler. Carley was involved in many things at Butler. She was involved in Softball, Soccer, FCA, Yearbook, NHS, Beta, and worked many of the blood drives. Carley is a very hardworking individual and always has a positive attitude in whatever she does.

Carley is a Sophomore at Bellarmine University. Carley is a Pre-Law double major in Criminal Justice and Psychology. She is also on the softball team and wears the number 00, her main position is the outfield.  The Bellarmine Knights season unfortunately ended due to the coronavirus. They ended their 2020 season 11-9 with a big 7 game win streak.

I’ve had the pleasure to play with Carley the last 2 years of her high school career. She was for sure the leader of the team and was constantly encouraging others. Carley was a big part of the teams success in 2018 where the team placed 3rd in the KHSAA state tournament. She has a bright future ahead of her and we all are wishing her the best. #OnceABearAlwaysABear
