The defending 6th region Butler boys soccer champions got to do a pretty incredible thing Monday as they represented the south end schools at the ribbon cutting for the brand new turf soccer field at Wyandotte Park. The event had names such as the mayor of Louisville – Greg Fisher, Louisville Football Club (FC) Youth Director – Mario Sanchez, the head coach of FC – John Hackworth and the  Louisville Parks foundation. This marks the 3rd turf field in the south end of Louisville. The project was funded by Louisville City FC soccer, Mayer Greg Fisher and Louisville Parks Foundation.
This turf field will big a big advantage and resource for many of the Butler squad in that area. It will be a fantastic place for guys to sharpen their skills and it will also be a good place for young kids to learn the basics of soccer.  Thank you to all who were involved in helping get three fantastic turf facilities in the south end of Louisville. Go Bears!!
